Happy Mother’s Day!

Hi Mom!  Happy Mother’s Day to you!  I can’t believe you didn’t pick up the phone yesterday when I’m positive there were 7 of us trying to get hold of you!  And since you didn’t pick up the phone, I thought it was time for the great Internet to see the great family you raised!  Now having 2 of my own, I really can’t imagine raising 7 kids.  I really think you can’t remember much simply because you blacked out the horror!  the horror!

Hee!  So here we all are circa 1981!

I was going through old pictures and totally thought this must be Mother’s Day 1981 since my Mom is wearing a corsage, and it is obviously in the spring, but from pictures around it it appears it might actually be my littlest brother’s First Communion.  I’m apparently about 6 years old — although I look so little!  I’m the older of the 2 girls.

I’ll be doing some Spring to Finish reports soon — I’ve been sewing lately instead of blogging, and spent some of my Mother’s Day, when I wasn’t calling Houston in vain, in my sewing room by myself.  Ahhh, heaven.  Definitely making progress on my list – Yay!
