I have been a very good girl this year, making all sorts of things with my fabric: quilts, dresses, costumes, softies, etc. But I have a very special request:
That you let me go to the Fat Quarter Shop and touch their fabrics! Seriously, they taunt me so! I *know* they are in Austin (hello Manchaca PO Box — I have relatives living in Manchaca – are you their neighbors??), and I *know* they have tons of beautiful fabric in their place, but they are like the North Pole! No one can actually get there and see you at your home Santa! But we know you exist by the gifts under the tree on Christmas.
And likewise, no one can go to this Fat Quarter Shop and feel and adore and see all that fabric, even though the adoring fabric fans *know* it’s nearby! And their packages end up in our mailboxes! Do I need to start peaking through my neighbors’ windows? Following the UPS truck? I believe! I believe in this Fat Quarter Shop!
I guess you probably won’t let me see this Fat Quarter Shop in person Santa, so I guess I’ll just request to see and have some of its fabric appear under my tree. Then I can pet it as all fabric deserves to be pet, and then of course use it.
Specifically, Santa, aren’t these fabrics great?!?! Especially the dandelions and the dots in every color way!?!?!?
OH, and how ’bout these ones??
and finally these ones:
Thanks Santa! I know that is asking way too much, but just a bit of it would make me a very happy sewer!
And remember, I always leave out the *best* cookies and milk for you every Christmas Eve!
(Thanks FQS for the great giveaway! **crossing fingers**)
