Chisholm Trail Quilt Show

This past weekend I attended the Chisholm Trail Quilt Guild’s Quilt Show in Round Rock, Texas.

It is a small show, but still fun and still some awesome quilts to look at!

Here are some of my favorites, with a picture of the description and name provided in the next picture (click to see bigger!).

Great colors AND piecing! (Is this a Piece o’ Cake design??  I want to say it is, but am not certain.):

I think this was my favorite of them all:  it is made completely of ties!  The fabrics were really luscious!

These stars really glow!:

Always a fan of color on top of black & whites:

The fabrics in these flowers are really cool:

Apparently I had a thing for flowers at this show:

GREAT vibrant frog!

I like the setting on this Bento Box:

Pretty batiks!

I really included this next one because it freaks me out.  (Please, *not* a criticism, just a fact!)  It is chocolates, but it looks like a bunch of eyes staring out at me — very tribal or something!  Eek! Must. Run. Away. Now!

OH, I must admit I was *so* proud of myself — I didn’t buy *any* new fabric! In fact, I only brought enough money in with me to buy my admission ticket. I have spent SO much lately, and I’m going to the Quilt Festival in Houston in just another week, so I need to save up some for that!

  1. Wow, looks like a fun show. I’m dying to go to Houston but looks like I can’t get away for it. Have lots of fun.

  2. I love the tie one too! So pretty.
