Stash Enhancement

Courtesy of Raney House Quilts!

A couple weeks ago I hit 8 different quilt shops in the area for the Fall Frolic Shop Hop. I lucked out and hit the far north shop on the 1st day, and the 2nd day the freeway was closed just a couple miles before that shop due to high water!  Glad I wasn’t in that mess!

SO, I think the heavy rains kept many from hitting all 8 shops, but *I* did  and turned in my card and won a $50 gift certificate to one of the shops — Raney House Quilts in Lockhart, Texas!

WOOHOO!

Loving the polkadots!

It was *so* much fun just choosing $50 worth of fabric for no reason at all.  Most of these will all be joining my Kaffe Fassett collection — I think I need a bigger bag!

I do have plans to someday make a Kaffe Fassett quilt.  Someday!

  1. Great stash building materials! Yes, someday you will have to make that quilt.

  2. Tell me about it. I have more ideas written down than 6 women could do in a lifetime. That’s what I love about quilting, you keep learning and get excited about what is coming next.

  3. Awesome blog!

I thought about starting my own blog too but I’m just too lazy so, I guess Ill just have to keep checking yours out.
    LOL,
