Pushing My Boundaries

My UFO list is H U G E, and many have been lingering for a LONG time.  (I need to put a full accounting on my sidebar to really hold myself, well, accountable!)  It is about time to get some done.

So, I have decided to move some items from the UFO list to the Finished Project list, and am using Tallgrass Prairie Studio‘s May Spring to Finish as my kick-in-the-butt.

I have 3 small quilts that only need binding, so I am really really hoping to get those done.  And then I MUST finish the blue & brown hand quilt, so there’s that too.  So my goal is 4 finishes – wish me luck!

Oh, and speaking of the blue & brown hand quilt, I mistakenly cut the border too narrow by 1/2″.  I’m sure it’ll be just fine a bit smaller, but now I’m thinking that 1/2″ would make it look better.  Tell me 4″ finished will be just as good as 4.5″ finished!  Otherwise, back to the quilt store for some more fabric.  *sigh*

Meanwhile, I also decided to join Twiddletail‘s nine-patch swap!  I think this could be a lot of fun to see some new-to-me fabrics, and definitely doable for my 1st Internet swap. And, um, add to my UFOs again!  YIKES!
