Well, how about pictures of 2 newly-finished quilts instead?
And an oldie but goodie — and what’s that I see??
YES, an Honorable Mention award!!! YAY! SO excited to win a ribbon at the Austin Area Quilt Guild Show & Sale. I’ll admit that I was also disappointed with Julia’s flower quilt *not* getting a ribbon in its category — I really thought it deserved it — but that’s an admittedly biased opinion.
At any rate, all of these quilts, and 400+ others, are on display now through Sunday at Palmer Events Center in Austin. Go see them!
I’ll be giving lots of details AND detail pictures of the top two quilts soon! So much to tell and so excited about them being done!

I'm nanann! I am a 30-something mom to 2 beautiful girls (6 and 4) living in Austin, Texas. I LOVE quilting and have recently taken up sewing clothes since it is just too much fun to do for my girls. This blog is a little bit about my quilting (or making of “woogies” as they’re known in my household) and other crafts, and a little bit about my two girls.

Congrats on your ribbon! I wish I was close enough to go look at all the quilts. Such food for thought!
Thanks so much!
I took pictures of a bunch of other quilts. Hopefully I’ll get around to posting them sooner rather than later — quilt shows are always so inspiring!
