Here is another craft made by my Grandma — my Mom’s mom. (Yes, the embroidered felt wall-hanging was made by her, my mom confirmed.)

I love these little snowmen, although they haven’t made it through the years the best. I have no idea when these were made, but my Grandma passed in 1986 I believe so definitely over 20 years ago. They are crocheted and instead of stuffing, have styrofoam balls in them.

They are sitting on a mini-Christmas quilt made by I-do-not-know. My mom ‘won’ it at a Christmas exchange at her quilt guild one year. The nativity picture behind them was colored by Elena last year. (LOOK, 2 bonus crafts in this post!)
And of course the picture to the side of them has 9 super-sweet pictures of Elena when she was just a wee 4 months old. I had SO much fun taking pictures of my non-crawling, running, jumping little girl, and of course had to work a way of showcasing the pictures in my countdown!

I'm nanann! I am a 30-something mom to 2 beautiful girls (6 and 4) living in Austin, Texas. I LOVE quilting and have recently taken up sewing clothes since it is just too much fun to do for my girls. This blog is a little bit about my quilting (or making of “woogies” as they’re known in my household) and other crafts, and a little bit about my two girls.
